Suited for professionals and students alike, this specially designed pad simulates the response of a timpani head, without all the sound. Perfect for backstage warm-ups, apartment or hotel room practicing or used in sets for full timpani console simulation. Beautifully crafted oak frame for durability and long-time appeal. Mounts securely on an 8mm practice pad stand, or sits on a table with non-marking rubber feet.

The face frame of the pad has notches to keep a pair of malets from rolling off - giving you a place to set your mallets down and stretch or take a break!
